This Privacy Policy explains how the Food Space application (food.kombato.space) handles data, with particular attention to its integration with the Pinterest API. It reflects how the application actually works rather than generic boilerplate.
About Food Space
Food Space is a private internal application developed and used exclusively by its owner to create and publish original food-related content.
- The application is not a public service.
- There is no user registration or user accounts.
- The application is used only by its owner.
Because Food Space has no external users, it does not collect, process, or store personal data belonging to third parties. All access is limited to the single owner who operates the application.
Information We Collect
The application may store only the following:
- the Pinterest OAuth access token;
- technical data necessary for the operation of the application;
- information necessary to publish content.
Pinterest passwords are never stored. Authentication is handled entirely by Pinterest through its official OAuth flow, and the application never sees or receives account credentials.
Pinterest API Integration
Food Space uses the official Pinterest API to publish original content to the developer’s own Pinterest Business account.
Food Space is an independent application and is not endorsed, sponsored, operated by, or affiliated with Pinterest, Inc.
Access to Pinterest is granted only through the official Pinterest OAuth authorization process. The application requests only the scopes it needs to publish and manage the developer’s own Pins and boards.
Pinterest Data Usage
Pinterest data is used solely for:
- publishing Pins;
- managing the developer’s own Pinterest account;
- operating the application.
Pinterest data is never sold, redistributed, licensed, or shared with third parties.
Food Space does not use Pinterest-derived data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Data Retention
When Pinterest authorization is revoked or the application is disconnected, stored Pinterest OAuth tokens and any cached Pinterest-derived data required for the application’s operation are permanently deleted within a reasonable period of time.
No Pinterest-derived data is retained longer than necessary for the operation of the application.
Security
- The application uses modern security measures to protect stored data in transit and at rest.
- Access tokens are stored securely and are never exposed publicly or embedded in client-side code.
- Access to the application and its data is restricted to the owner of the application.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, together with the date of the latest revision. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
